The Story of Bomac

Bomac’s roots stretch back to the 1960s, long before Bomac Improvements LTD. came to be. Three partners: Arnold Rand, Doug Pichler, and Frank Plewes combined their expertise as an accountant, engineer, and superintendent carpenter to create what would become a decades long legacy. After a few years, the trio went their separate ways.

While Arnold and Doug pursued their own ventures, Frank continued with Bomac Construction LTD. He led major projects across Saskatchewan through the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and into the 2000s. Known for its skilled crews, capable office staff, and strong leadership, Bomac earned a reputation for quality and reliability while building schools, bridges, and various other infrastructure.

In 1996, Frank’s nephew Rodney Godwin and his partner Paul Cooke launched Bomac Management LTD. They brought along key staff and continued the Bomac legacy. With the

ever-present Bomac logo proudly displayed throughout the years, there are still many professionals who remember the tenacity and attention to detail that Bomac Management

represented. The company completed its final projects in 2018 as Rod and Paul entered retirement. Meanwhile, Rod’s son Mackenzie Godwin had been learning the trade from a young age. He worked on job sites every summer and school break. After earning his Journeyman Certification, and with full support from the previous generation, he launched Bomac Improvements LTD.

in 2019.

Today, Bomac Improvements carries forward a legacy more than 60 years in the making. From initial layout to intricate trim work, our team's dedication ensures every element fits perfectly and enhances your space.
